Older Already Trained Puppies
We offer a limited number of trained puppies per year to families looking for a well mannered already trained puppy with a great foundation. Our puppies that go through our training program live full time with our trainer. They are usually around 4- 5 months when going home.
Our trained labradoodles have started housebreaking, are crate trained and happily run to their kennel, they are extensively socialized to a variety of places, people, and experiences, as well learn basic obedience. Our trained puppies will know how to walk well on leash, greet humans quietly, and are accustomed to being handled making going to the vet and grooming a breeze. They come when called, have learned appropriate play, know how to let go of things they shouldn’t have and how to choose calm instead of crazy.
From Janet our trainer: “Most importantly, we teach your puppy how to be adventurous and curious so life is not scary. Through tons of socialization and community outings, we can positively influence your puppy’s long term feelings about our big, noisy, chaotic, stressful, human lifestyle. All those things can lead to dogs being fearful, reactive or suffering from separation anxiety. We want your puppy as resilient to these stressors as possible. “
. Each puppy is unique with their own personality, strengths, and weaknesses and we cater our program to fit the needs of each puppy individually.
To apply for an already trained Ohio Valley Labradoodle puppy, please complete out our puppy application and make a note that you are interested in the already trained puppy option. The reservation fee/deposit to be added to our trained puppy waitlist is $1000.

Yes! Owners need training too. In order for it to be a successful you will need to continue to do all this work at home. Puppies are a lot like kids and need tons of practice and repetition to maintain their skills.
From our trainer: “Families will get a “go home” lesson and a series of handouts to help you remember everything. We will cover even more information such as basic first aid, saving money at the vet and groomer, the benefits of feeding real food, essential oils, and other holistic measures to provide your puppy with thriving, vibrant health for years to come. And you will have access to our private Skyview K9 Facebook training page for continued support where you find all the handouts and helpful videos as well. With each week of training completed you will receive 1 complimentary follow up lesson either in person or online. “
