About Us

My name is Kristina Couser owner and breeder of Ohio Valley Labradoodles. I breed genuine quality mini, medium, and standard Australian Labradoodles. My goal is to produce excellent and loyal family companions suitable for therapy and service work, while continuing to perfect and maintain the integrity of the breed.

Our family was introduced to the australian labradoodle when we started the search for a new family member. We have always been fond of the lab temperament. But we preferred a non-shedding dog. With two young children, we also needed a dog that had a superb temperament. That was when we found the Australian labradoodle. In 2013, we finally purchased our first breeding female, Georgia. After a long flight from California, she greeted us with a happy wagging tail and tons of puppy kisses. I was amazed at what a quick learner she was. Incredibly intelligent, eager to please, and a joy to train. She was wonderful with our boys and she didn’t shed. We began our own breeding program to share the joy of owning these highly intelligent, fun loving dogs with other families.

Being a stay at home mom, my schedule allows me to devote much of my time to caring for the puppies throughout the day. Everyone in the family plays an important part in raising the puppies. The puppies are born and raised in our home. From day one we utilize the Early Neurological Stimulation Program also known as the ‘Super Dog’ program to enhance neurological stimulation.  Puppies also benefit from being exposed regularly to the business of everyday life, and socializing daily with our children.little boy petting a chocolate australian labradoodle puppy
